Chef Ben Chesley was appointed Executive Chef of Epoch Restaurant in Exeter, New Hampshire, when he was 24 years old. With a love for Modern American Cuisine, he is known for putting a fresh spin on timeless classics. He considers himself “a simple country chef,” yet his creative cuisine has garnered a lot of attention on the Seacoast, and he has been featured in many local publications.
Originally from Newmarket, New Hampshire, Chesley attended Seacoast School of Technology in Exeter, New Hampshire. After earning his degree at New England Culinary Institute in Vermont, Chesley worked in area restaurants, including the esteemed Green Monkey and Wellington Room. After taking the reins at Epoch, he began racking up accolades and awards from TripAdvisor, The Wedding Wire, and many local cook offs.
Chef Chesley is passionate about giving back to the community, and he continually seeks ways to contribute. He is frequently involved in Share Our Strength fundraisers.
