Meet the Chef
Tyler Brooks brings over a decade of experience to his role as Executive Chef of Epoch Gastropub. Tyler is an alum of Emeril Lagasse and has worked for various high end and notable establishments such as Walt Disney World, The Masters Tournament and Watercolor Inn & Resort in Florida. Prior to the reopening of Epoch, Tyler worked at another Hay Creek Hotels property, the Breakwater Inn and Spa located in Kennebunkport.
Through the course of his career, Tyler has created a multitude of cuisines along the East coast. With the new menu at Epoch Gastropub, Tyler takes taste buds on a culinary adventure as he enhances approachable and modern classics with global flavors. His take on New England cuisine is innovative and showcases his deft touches of simplicity. Whether he is researching allergen friendly dining through a partnership with the Phillips Exeter Academy or collecting antique cookbooks, Tyler is a lifelong learner and pushes the boundaries of his culinary acumen.
